I tamed a wolf thinking I would just dismiss it when I found the bear I wanted... no. dismiss doesn't delete the pet or set it free... how do I do this? I want a bear not a wolf =(
Your pet has a status icon in the top left corner of your screen, right underneath your own icon.
Right click on it, and a few options come up, one of which is "Abandon". Use this function to remove any current pet from existence :).
