Weapon Training.Follow

Started playing a NE Rogue, he has Daggers and Thorwn. But I read from above that a Rogue can use other types of weapons too, but require "training". I was wondering how do I go about receiving these training? Do I need to seek out a trainer? Are these skills resticted by level?

Thanks.

you can learn to use Bows, Crossbows, Swords, and... i think thats it... you can learn to use them i think at level 20? maybe... im not sure, but i do know that you can learn two weapon trainings in Thunderbluffs... and one or two weapons in Undercity... Seek out an NPC with the title "Weaponmaster" in the subtext... i think there is also one in Orgrimmar in the "arms of legend" shoppe, but i cant be sure of that...

As a lvl 21 NE rogue, I was able to get Guns and Mace skills in Ironforge via a "Weaponmaster" in the War section of town.

Still trying to find sword, crossbow and bow.

Hey guys and gals,

Im level 12 and I can get Bows and Hand Weapons to train in. I could get those at the Darnassus. I was wondering if I should even bother with Bow training, or if I should just stick with throwing knives? If anyone has some advice that would be great. Goodluck and good gaming.

That is my profile. These skills, check Skills tab, is everything that I have found to train in. I will have to go back to Darnassas to see if I can get hand weapons, but I have yet to see any in the game. If anyone has a profile link with one equip'ed, mind to link it?

I got my skills up in guns/bows/crossbow by hitting the newbie starting area's and shooting everything in sight. I also used Darkshore to get Unarmed up by fighting Thistle Bears that were grey at lvl 20. Once Unarmed was 50+ I put a mace or sword into my off hand so not to do to much damage to make the fight last longer, it went up surprisingly fast using Sinster Strike once to get a tech point then spending it on Slice and Dice once a quick haste. You have to hit the enemy to get a skill up. Also you will slow down around the 80's in a newbie area for you ranged weapon, but having 80+ will let you at least hit a lvl 20+ target.

When you enter a new town, talk to the guards and look for the Weapon Master option. Once you find the weapons master in Darnassas, Stormwind, or Ironforge... you will be able to get the above skills (You have to visit all three cities to get the complete list). Remember to grab the Flight Paths (I.e- talk to Gryphon Masters in Ironforge and Stormwind) to be able to travel back to these towns if you need to pick up anything that you didn't have money for, like a cheap sword or mace.

As a NE Rogue, I took the bird to Darkshore- left boat on the dock to Menethil Harbor- Run along the road following the signs to Ironforge (Using the larger Map helps also.). Once your at Ironforge, you can that the Tram (Talk to guard to get directions to it) to Stormwind. The whole run takes about 35 to 45 mins depending on if you stop to fight etc.

I chose to train in all things possible because sometimes in a group with Hunters or Priest dou'ing a quest I was the tank. Daggers at this point became useless because it is hard to Guage and slip behind ofr a good Backstab, so I swap out to two swords, sword and mace etc. Using Sinister Strike and Evaserate for my high damaging dealing.

Hope this Helps.

I got One-handed sword in UC with my rogue, and they also had crossbow training there also I believe. Looking to see if there is a place to get One-handed axes tho, kinda wanted to use those.
