I'm big on the 'support' game... and I was looking over my talent build options. Something Holy/Discipline talent wise. I have a few questions though...

How is meditate on actual mana impact? Other games I've played mana management is way more important for a medic than actual healing capacity. Thus I'm struggling between Master Healer and Meditate... is it worth the tradeoff in everyone's opinion?

Second... holy specialization. I hear tell that a critical for a healing spell heals 50% more. Doesn't seem worth it in my book but just wanted to see if I had the wrong idea all together.

I dont know between meditation and all of that, but that extra 50% health restore will save you some mana, and will give the person who is being healed a bit less to wory about.

My question on criticals is - how often do they fire? I don't think I've actually had one yet, at level 11. On the other hand, I rarely look at the combat log so perhaps I just haven't noticed.

I guess what I really want to know is, how often do crits fire at higher levels, like 40+ ?

About the rate you will crit at would depend on how mouch int you got.?
i usually heal the target when its so low that if i crit it will be alot more efficient. lets say the theal heals 25% i will heal the target under 50%

Believe if i remember the quote right its 100int=1% crit

For me crits are so rare i decided to not go the line of inspiration.

I just posted my Talent template in the talent thread, but thought I would throw in my 2C here too. I don't know that I've ever had a crit heal go off, but as someone who planes on playing a purely support role I didn't go with Inspiration. I figured it would be better for me to assume that I won't get a crit heal, and if I ever do, then hey, go team. :)

Its always good to avoid majorly situational settings, since you will most likely get more use out of something else. Take for examp inspiration, while it is nice, it wont get used much and when it does that crit may or may not send you into the top of the hate list, in which case that extra armor would be useless.

Same thing goes for my choice on disliking spirit of redemption. It has its uses on raids gone wrong, but I dislike giving up a talent point to make up for gameplay deficiancies.
