Paladins can at level 40, by compleating a quest, summons a warhorse, which serves as a mount. Speed is increased by 60%.

Paladins are the only class to optain that warhorse.
But is it worth it? other player can buy a normal mount for 100 gp.

And do you even use that warhorse when you got a better one for 1k gp? ok, its 1k gp. thats alot, and you have to be lvl 60. But its posible.

The warhorse is free (aside from the quest of course), unique, and well worth the effort to obtain before the next mount becomes availible at lvl 60. There's a good 20 lvls between the two - do you really want to be walking around on foot for that much longer just because you're too stubborn to do the quest?

im not sure if there would be a new mount quest for paladins at level 60. But if not, does that mean when you buy your 1k gp horse you never gonna use your special unique horse anymore?

Dont get me wrong, I do appreciate a "free" (quest) horse you can use to almost the the rest of your days.

Im just saying that some day you will never use your warhorse anymore, so if you are one of thoes who play alot, then dont make a paladin just because of the special mount you can summon.

Other classes do get the option to buy travle mount aswell.

Ah, I see what you're saying. Yeah, the warhorse definetly shouldn't be a selling point, unless you really like the way it looks.
