Not blacksmithing or leatherworking, obviously, since those make things you couldn't use. Mining/engineering works, but is rarer; herbalism/alchemy is common but you can't dispute the utility; tailoring/anything is very useful for clothwearers. The 'anything' is typically a gathering profession, with the character selling what he gathers for profit, but some people take up enchanting as their second. I would warn you, however, that enchanting is VERY expensive.

i took:
Tailoring/Enchanting

Enchanting is not really technically expensive. the money it costs ends up being the money not being made by dienchanting magic items instead of selling them. but i have a feeling (only enchanting 50-60 atm) that at higher levels, you can probably make good money being an enchanter.

While in beta I was very happy doing tailoring and skinning. Saved me buying the leather I needed for some of my patterns. Plus the skinning was a good way to earn a bit of extra money.

I think that herbalism/alchemy will be by far the most popular warlock combo. It allows the warlock to become very group friendly by passing out mana and health potions. Two things every group can't get enough of is health and mana. In addition at higher levels alchemy allows the creation of some very powerful potions that are essential in some situations.

Secondary trades are a bit tougher. Fishing was fun for about 5 minutes. It is more of a mini game than a real skill. However, at higher levels, it too should yield some value.

First aid can come in handy, but it is basically an out of combat skill which makes it limiting. It does reduce downtime, but most of the effects from a bandage can be gotten from food. From the community site:
Bandages are channel cast and heal over time. If the player bandaging or the player being bandaged is struck in combat, the bandaging effect ends. Either way, the target still gets the "recently bandaged" debuff.
Each player can receive treatment only once in a 60 second period.

Hello Warlock's, I am taking time away from my Priestess to give the dark side of the force a try. I currently use tailoring and enchanting as my two skills for my priestess and I plan on using the same for my warlock.

Back to the topic at hand; I would have to say that tailoring is the gathering skill for enchanting….& why would I say something like that you ask. Well, there are some articles of clothing that you can create that can be disenchanted, sooooo just tailor the “green label cloths” disenchant and repeat. Next thing you know you two have a high level skills. But I choose tailoring for the single reason of being able to create bags to use for all the soul shards.
Anyway, good luck to me on my new warlock!!

Cheers
