Hey everyone. I had a few questions about the Rogue class. I wanted to know if every Rogue gets dual wield at level 10 or do you have to put the points on the branch to unlock it? Also, I'm not sure if this will be like FFXI where everyone focued on race but if it is, what would be a better Rogue, a human or an orc? Thanks for your input.

Duel Wield is a Skill not a tallent.

Brief explination:

Skills = Normal ability. You get better skills, and more skills as you level. These all cost $$ and can get pretty expensive, but once you learn a skill it is yours forever.

Tallents = Why are you so special. Tallents give you the ability to really customize your character. Beginning at level 10 you gain one tallent point per level. As you apply these tallent points more tallents are un-locked giving you more choices.

You may get a Skill (Duel-Wield) at level 10, and after spending some tallent points become much more efficient at duel-wielding than your rogue counter parts. (yes there is a penalty to duel wield that is mitigated with tallents)

All rogues get dual wield at 10 as long as you have the couple silver peices to train in it. You do not have to put any points into a branh of the talent tree to unlock it. People do not focus on race nearly as much as they did in FFXI. Race in WoW is a matter of preference and what you like. People will not avoid inviting you just becuase your race is not the best suited for your class like in FFXI. If you are a power gamer and only play the best race/class combo, then for rogue you should choose Night Elf if you want Alliance and Troll if you want Horde. I chose Troll becuase I plan on playing all the Horde races because every race and class seems awesome....except for Paladin...or any alliance for that matter.
