Blizzard is no longer accepting apps for the closed beta. More info is available at the WoW Beta Site, there is a link for "Beta Signup Status" on the right.

I just started a Night Elf Druid in Open Beta. It seems like everyone else had the same idea, because there are lots of low level Night Elf Druids being played. In fact, it looks to me as if about half of all Night Elf Characters i have met so far are all druids. Druid is way better than i ever imagined.

I play a 26 NE druid on server 13. Druids are nice, but they are nowhere near as powerful as shamans if you're looking for a "jack of all trades" class. Druids are more of a "Well, we could *try* to do this, but we're gonna die if we do, but then again, we'll die if we don't too, so.."
They're good. They're fun. But they get damned annoying after a while.
