Wow...seriously? Would you happen to know if the Ancient Magic spells are in the game? It's the sole reason I'm playing right now...

I would expect these spells will be in the game. The current level cap is 50 and im sure they will raise it in the future, with new abilities and spells, as in FFXI.

The level cap will be raised, it has to be raised.

If it is not raised, then easily 60% of aetherite gates and camps are completely useless. Also, a stupid amount of monsters will be able to one shot anybody, making them inaccessible.

Look at La Noesca. See South Bloodshore? Those monsters can one shot me at R40.

If the level cap is 50 forever, then south bloodshore is a complete waste of space.

And there's a lot more than just that one area

Same as it was worthless in FFXI.

I would not focus on these spells rather SE should fix the regular nukes.

AM was worthless on uncapped events, you would be wasting MP using AM compared with the dmg done from a tier IV nuke. Maybe you got stuck at lvl 50 doing a omfg MB on crabs but endgame AM was NEVER used.

AM2 was useful as long as you have capped their merits and also if you where a fully merited BLM.

I seriously can't believe you say AM was usefull.

I loved AM burn parties, and starting SC off with AM. Of course, that was all pre-ToAU.
