Be Profound, and Bind your SpiritFollow

Advice from a 31 conjurer who didn't bother using these spells forever: (cue song "I Wish that I knew what I know now...")

Make frequent use of Profundity and Spiritbind.

Profundity can take a regular spirit bolt and make it hit for 3-4 times its regular damage, often tripling or quadrupling it's SP gain. Yes it costs a good chunk of stamina. Pop it off at the start of a battle.

Spiritbind is really much better than I thought at first. Nuke spells are a great way to get good SP (I've gotten 200+ SP from nuking in larger parties), and this is an ideal way to do so more efficiently. This is NOT useful for solo'ing or in "scorched earth" parties where you just run around killing easy mobs for 40-70 SP at a time. It is ideal for drawn out battles where you will be doling out damage and healing and hoping / expecting 400-500 SP.

Spiritbind words for those situations where you're going to be spamming your heals as well. Do us all a favor and spam Cure I when you spam (unless Cure II absolutely necessary!).

I'll have to completely agree to this - my normal "rotation" for a fight where I'm doing a decent amount of healing (versus a mob that doesn't AE) is to walk up next to my tank, AE a regen on everyone, then Spiritbind and start Cure2/Aero2 spamming, while mixing in Spirit Darts with a Profundity use whenever it's available. Most other Conj I've grouped with always run out of mana and have to back off healing/nuking with 3-4 minutes left on their Tranquility because they burn through it too fast without using Spiritbind. And Profundity on anything but Spirit Dart is a waste of time and cooldowns unless you are opening the fight with a large nuke.

On average through a fight I'll get off 2 regens, 3 Cure2s, 2 Aero2s, 1 Profundity, and 10 normal spirit darts.
Cure2 hitting for full is about 100 sp
Regen hitting for full is about 85 sp (and random 20-30sp from just applying the buff on various melees)
Aero2 hitting non-resist / non-crit is about 120 sp
Normal spirit darts are about 45-50 sp
Profundity spirit darts are 130-150 sp

Our fights at level 25 with 4-5 people normally take about 45 seconds and I normally average 250 sp. Because of things like Spiritbind and Profundity it makes the fights where I get lucky net me almost 500 sp, and the fights where I get unlucky I just end up at about 150-200 sp (though I still outrageously get 0 once in a blue moon).
