Arbor Squirrelys around camp glory in coerthas were giving me decent sp, and the sp was actually pretty good when I duo'd with another conjurer my lvl. After a couple levels, the does become fair exp, and the wolfs are amazing sp in a duo. There is a spot, I think it's east of camp glory, that has several wolves all in the same area. A friend and I were getting 300-500 sp a kill on those things.

But the real sp is in partying at 20+. I have leveled since 20-29 in linkshell parties, and it goes great. Fast fights, 100-500 sp per kill, and it's a lot more fun. In an ideal party, we fly through mobs, destroying them 3 at a time when they link, and I get 300+ a kill from heals.

If you don't have anyone to party with, I'd suggest making some new friends or finding a decent linkshell... If it's time restraints that force you to solo grind, then Idk what to tell you, I guess just focus on leves or something. But if you are grinding for more than an hour at a time, you should definitely work on finding some mates to grind with. I haven't solo'd beyond leves since around 20 or so, and I don't plan on it anytime soon. So again, I strongly suggest going the multiplayer route.

I've noticed that, when grouped, the mobs we're fighting must have a f-ton of HP to get skill ups. Otherwise, I get 0 - 50 sp per fight, usually 0, while other non-casters are getting 300-500 sp per fight. I'm very close to switching to another class until this issue is fixed.

When you're in a party, you want monsters that con between Yellow and Blue (while in a party) for the most part. If they're max'ing at yellow and going down to blue, there's a stronger chance that they're on the higher end of the blue spectrum.

This will assure you that the monsters are of appropriate difficulty, yet still manageable.

If you're trying to get SP by healing, I recommend choosing mobs with moderately strong AoE attacks. Each person you heal for full cure amount ( please use Cure I unless Cure II is absolutely necessary to keep people alive) gives a chance at a decent SP proc. Healing someone for 0 or less than the cure's full value gives drastically reduced SP.

Phys lv may serve to nerf SP but it in no way helps you get it any faster... Proven fact.

Physical level does increase SP, not because of any weird formulas or anything, but because you have more stats.

A conjurer with 60 VIT, Mind, Int, and Piety will have less downtime than a conjurer with 30 VIT, Mind, Int, and Piety. You'd hit harder, hit more often, so yes, you'd get increased SP

But it's not because you're higher level, it's because you have more stats to play around with.

At Rank 21 conjurer the Hoverfly Swarms outside of Copperbell Mines range from rank 25-29 and net between 126-182 SP. They die fast (3-5 spells depending on resists and level). Don't use Aero. There's the occasional Yarzon Bleeder that pops that ranges from 26-29 which aggroes but even if you get ambushed, if you're worth anything as a soloing conjurer he shouldn't be a problem. He nets 216-259 SP per kill. I was killing about 4-6 swarms before the Yarzon repopped. Buff Protect -> Shell -> Stoneskin -> Shock Spikes, attack the Yarzon and wrap up the last of your 5 minutes killing hoverflies. Apply Stoneskin/Heals as needed, but I didn't bother to apply stoneskin every time it wore off, especially on the rank 25 hoverflies.

Daddy Longlegs pops on the way to the mines, but you should be able to easily skirt around him if he's up.

Don't ask me where to go after this because I don't know. I'm only rank 21 myself.

Even when I grind through mob +6/+9 ranks above me at R.25, the SP still stinks. I earn anywhere from 110-169sp. I would gladly do more. Leves if they boost the total number that you can take.

You're hitting the "weak" mobs. Mob types do determine SP by a large degree, and those Doblyn/Pteroc isn't going to give you any good SP. Eft, Raptor, Peiste, Drake, Mongrel etc. give considerably more SP even outside leves. For example Drake outside leve can give up to something like 500 SP per kill.

You're correct. When I'm not doing leve or behest runs, I'm on Eft SP teams.
