Can we use Guard?Follow

Had it loaded with a shield on con but wasn't ever able to get it light up like it does on gladiator. Basically had wand in main and shield in sub and wand spammed and shield never raised even tho I spammed the action button to no avail...

Yeah Guard works, you have a chance to gain skill points on a successful block and after you've killed the monster, it's not when you actually use the skill.

Check out this blog post on the topic.

also, when you equip guard to your action bar, make sure you equip it to off hand.

I bet I didn't have it loaded correctly as sub if others are able to use it and I am not ><;;

when I equip my shield guard automatically goes into the first empty slot. . .as far as I know you can't automatically equip it. . .I tried and it put the ability in a slot, but it was greyed out. . .i had to unequip my shield to clear the space and put it back on :\

Yeah guard appears to be bugged got it working last night tho strange why it didn't the other day guess the game is still very very buggy and lag lag laggy for me...

The way I changed mine is to go into passive mode, then use an /eaction command.

I THINK the proper command to do so (in slot 5 in this example, since that's where I keep mine):

/eaction 5 Guard sub

Bear in mind, that I'm not a text command syntax expert, and I sat there trying all sorts of different arrangements of that text until it worked (including substituting "off" for "sub"). If someone wants to correct me, I'm certainly not offended.

I'll try to remember to double check this when servers come back up.
