Hello I am a lv 16 conj and i cant get a skill up point for rank to save my life..
Casting heals and buffs doesnt give me points at all and its the only thing i do most of the time to stay alive soloing and in parties.
Seems the only thing i can do to get points is hit spirit dart which only sometimes gives me skillups.
I dont seem to get any points from mobs my lv and i can only get 6-7 form lv 1 mobs...
Even with guardian doing leves solo or in grps i dont get any more then solo and sometimes i dont get any points at all.
Is ther ea trick to gaining rank points for class? I got all the exp i need from crafting but i cant get a skillup to save my life and im contemplating quitting because it seems like this class was nerfed to high hell after that healing exploit.

I hear you - I'm 16 as well and can use guardian and do a leve and finish it and get ZERO SP but go kill a rat and get 75, turn around and kill a red dodo and get zilch.

You are doing it wrong. I can't say how it works in parties, since I mostly solo but I don't see what you are talking about.
Buffs don't give SP when cast on yourself. If you are partying, AOE buff another member close by to get SP. Same with heal.
When solo, all I do is spam Spirit Dart, Damnation (THM skill) and Radiance, and heal when needed. Skillups are fine. Last night I grinded my last 4000 to 16 in less than an hour, so I know what I'm talking about.
I gotto 16 no problem now its a brickwall i dont get points for anything...
SPirit dart nets me 25 points a swing every 5-8th swing on blue/green mobs solo before 16 i was getting 75-90 per swing every 2-3 swings i end most fights with gaining between 0 and 70 ish points this was a huge drop off from 15 and below... You obviously are emeblishing lol

I would really suggest getting into a group, i've had some seriously strong gains as conj while grouping.
a lvl 14-16 group on crabs is nice and I get anywhere from 180-400+ sp per fight it avg's out to about
300 or so sp a fight and i think that's alright.
I have noticed more skill ups doing that especially when buffing the party with tect and shell and curing getting 80-130 sp a cast with multiple cure casts and it proc'ing 1-2x a fight is good
adding in spirit dart and radiance into the mix has helped as well.
i am going to be fraping a video this week when i party and will post on youtube for us, will
give us something to disect
