Cure vs Sacrificce - discuss!Follow

Well , its easy ¿which one prefer?

I prefer Sacrificce , i think heal the same HP and givs the regen dot , (yeah it sux a little but something its something) the only defect its it take some of ur hp , but if u do the sacrifice AoE in yourself donth matters about the hp cost.

Sacrifice

Pros: heal the same (?)
give regen dot

contra : Cost self hp (but donth matters?)

The problem I find is that I can't AOE Heal spam without ripping Hate a lot of the times. So this forces me to single target heal - which drains my HP down. It's not horrible - but if someone is taking a bunch of damage up front and I have to stop to heal myself or switch on AoE with a macro - that sort of delay will kill someone. It also puts you low on health and if you eat an AoE or pull aggro you're that much more dead.

On my 13 THM I have Sacrifice and Cure equipped personally. I alternate them when constant healign is needed and keep the regen up otherwise.

Cure is a lifesaver if your hp goes into the red and you cant cast sacrifice. Both spells can be oae so they both have benefits

I usually trio when I play Thaum and I generally prefer sacrifice. It costs less MP, heals for about the same amount, and has regen built in. I do have both set for the times when I have to spam cures. They are both good, but honestly you'll get the best utility using the one made for the disciple you are currently playing.

just get them both, i spam aoe sacrifice 2 as i need to no problem, normally my tank keeps the hate unless i messed up and pulled mobs w/o noticing with an aoe damage or if we get aggro i might end up with hate, but i have enough hp and good gear to resist that, all the healers i get into my parties die 1-2 hits from mobs, me and my tank dont like to worry much about having to protect other ppl so he rly does not have provoke set up, just the occasional taunt, and we dont have any problems.

ps: mostly we end up duoing since the ppl we invite either cant land hits before mob is dead or are healers that die by a bslap.

so just use cure 2 when your own hp is at stake since S2 does around 321(i have kept my mnd caped at 100 by choice) same as C2(thm both heals do equal healing) but S2 is minus 94 hp thats required for casting it.

when running low on ur own HP so u cannot use sacrifice, id suggest getting the PUG skil seccond wind - (rank 6 PUG skill) its a instant self heal that costs 250 TP = 1 hit with ur dart...

any tank that cant keep hate from a full parties worth aint worth his iron mitts (sad joke but meh) if people stick to there rolls a full party works alot better, you wont be able to duo everything in the game when things start getting hazy so no offence met but get ur tank to set provoke, i have both taunt, voke and war drums set, as for the topic both are a nessesity for diff situations that much is obvious (hence why i have both set on my gla as well as second wind). again really dont mean offence but a tank that allows anyone to die and then blames people for pulling hate aint one ide wanna partner with.
