I wonder if the guildmark ability Fastcast also speeds up Spirit Dart attacks?

Spirit Darts do not have a "casting" bar in the way that elemental nukes / cures / buffs do, so I assume not. It will be a few more days before I'm 30 to confirm.

Just purchased Fastcast and the tooltip of my spells did not change, it still says 6 seconds on Stoneskin for example and it is hard to see if there is a difference in a game as laggy as this. Granted, I am only rank 23 and the optimal rank is rank 30 so that could be the issue or the tooltip simply does not update, unlike Spiritbind which updates after casting a spell.

Also, it does not affect the cooldown like it does in FFXI.

I'm thinking you need to be close to or at optimal rank to use the ability effectively similar to optimal rank on weapons and armor where you get reduced stats. If the above poster could test it out each time they gain a rank he/she can confirm this.
