I would like to start a thread about other class useful skills for the conjurer class leveling grind:

Class Ability/Skill Level - Benefit

Thaumaturge - Blood Rite - 2 - Boost your spell casting for the sake of Hp found this was hitting mobs extremely hard with Aero grinding I hit easy between 200-300 damage.

Thaumaturge - Sacrifice - 4 - Heal over time 2 heals and soloing tough mobs become a breeze

Thaumaturge - Punishing Barbs - 10 - Mobs kill themselves while you have two cures to spam to keep you up take out reds

sacrifice is the only one that I take. I find my bar simply too full of useful conj spells. Punishing barbs is ONLY good for red leve's in which you may die. The loss of rank exp is too great by using it.

red lotus from glad, its a magic based attack, it uses 1000 tp and 10 mp i avrage 200-300 damage and almost never miss with it

it's nice, but it uses 10 mana which makes it less nice for using in my opinion. Your nukes will be doing the same damage and you wont be wasting your tp.

Depends on if i am soloing or grouping

soloing - Rampart, Second wind, Damnation, Sacrifice
group - rampart, damnation, sacrifice, bloodrite

i dont use radiance it never hits and when it does it hits for less then damnation. damnation is like 90% hitrate

The 10m mana regen skill of the Thaum class.

Macro the weapon swap so you click it, hit spell, swap back and pull next mob.

Thaumaturge rank 8 spell - Slow - it slow down the mobs action/stamina (or whichever you called). This spell is a life saving and a must have spell for both Conjurer and Thaumaturge, especially for solo play.

Unfortunately this cannot be done because setting the ability puts it on cooldown.

I have sacrifice , slow and poison in the action bar.
great to have either solo-ing or in party.

before engaging, shock spike and stone skin when needed--> slow mob to engage --> poison -->spirit dart and radiance while alternate between cure and sacrifice (IMO every conjurer should have this)

i also thinking of second wind and feather foot from pug, rampart from gal and defender from mar (for solo-ing purpose)

I have a 20 marauder and have just started conjurer for a change of pace I plan to use banish and dia from thau because banish decrease defence to astral dmg with adds a little extra to radiance and Dia.(well I hope thats how it works) Along with second wind from pug I plan to lvl up shield to 10 for Aegis Boon in those "Oh F**K" situations if I have a shield on.

Isn't it still on cool down once you swap weapons out of combat? Or can you have it loaded on con swap to Tha and it doesn't go into cool down since it was loaded on con????

yah THM badass come get our skills...... jk XD i lvled CON to 20 just to get protect/shell<- important for most fights above lvl 25. and fore cure2

I second Red Lotus. The reason you would use this over a nuke is because I find that nukes almost never give me SP, while weapon attacks & WS give SP at a decent rate. It will run through your MP quickly though....which may be a problem if you don't have the THM MP regen abilities.

I also use MAR Defender ability when soloing. (reduces physical attack, increases defense). I confirmed that it does not effect Dart damage or heals. It does seem to help how much damage a CON takes even cross-class. I wouldn't level a MAR up to 10 solely for it, but if you already play Marauder it's useful when soloing.

The latter, it's not on cooldown once you switch jobs/weapons.

I use both Tranquility and Exaltation on my Pugilist this way, and get 100% MP refill every 5 minutes.

Since both are zero cost skills, there is no reason that either ability should ever not be equipped, i keep them on action bar #3 so that they don't take up space on my main action bar.

Rampart is always good for solo'n when you've bitten off more then you can chew, or in cases where I like to use it, leve quests that I made to hard to solo and I pair it with barbs and Cure II/Cure bombing myself and suicide all the mobs :)

INB4 " barbs causes less damage if you have rampart up", well if you have 6 mobs attacking you it might be the difference in having enough time to get your cures off

for the low lvls i used contrussive (sp) hit from monk to get the blind like effect on the mob

Great Must have skills:
1) Sacrifice 1- Thaumaturge R4, Better heal for SP than Cure
2) Firm Conviction- Thaumaturge Trait R20, Never die, ever
3) Siphon MP- Thaumaturge R20, Never run out of mana

Luxury Skills:
1) Exhaultation- Thaumaturge (Really low)- I find that unless thaumaturge is near your conjurer rank, the max MP will be a LOT lower than Conjurer, meaning you would only really use it if you bottom out. Not very viable, perhaps good in lower levels?
2) Feint- Lancer R20- You will never care about missing a spirit dart again. Excellent TP dump, good for doing DPS.
3) (Insert all movement speed increasing skills here)
4) Punishing Barbs- Thaumaturge 10, Never fail a guildleve ever again.
5) Stygian Spikes- Thaumaturge ?, Good for soloing and a no-SP loss buff
