I was toying around with some mobs earlier and I found something interesting quite by accident. I was using Profundity to increase nuke damage and I accidentally hit Spirit Dart instead. It turns out that spirit dart eats up Profundity and in doing so Spirit Dart will deal about 250% of normal damage. So this means Spirit Dart is DEFINITELY and without a doubt a magical attack, affected by magical stats.

Another thing I found out, Radiance is not affected by Profundity in any way, curious if that means it is affected by stats other than INT MND and Piety...

ive been wondering if SD was a physical attack enhanced by str and dex or a magical attack...this helps steer me to a magical conclusion a little more :)

i noticed that but never ever paid mind to it

nice post and confirms what many of us have been thinking
I am looking for all gear or items with magical accuracy to improve
spells and magic based attacks

we're mages after all and even the animation looks like a ranged magic attack
and not a physical hit
