Ive been back to the game for about 3 weeks so far and i have been searching for information on this item with little luck. I have found that you can own more than one and you can sell it on AH etc. I have heard that this will give a +1 to leathercrafting but since you are able to obtain more than one and sell it I have my doubts. If anyone can confirm or debunk this it would be much appreciated.

I believe the item itself does not give skill+1. Rather, the moghancement associated with it can give skill+1 so owning more than one would not give any benefit. On the same note, that means it probably does nothing if you already own either of the original GP furnishing items.

I'm guessing it's meant to be a way to obtain Mega Moglification without having to get a Stall made through synergy. One piece of guild furniture gives Moghancement, two pieces gives Moglification, and 3 pieces gives Mega Moglification. According to ffxiclopedia, just having the Stall by itself will give Mega Moglification without the other pieces of guild furniture. I installed my Stalls without pulling the other guild furniture out, so I can't say for sure.

With Leathercrafting, what HQ synths are you trying to avoid using the ring?

Also, it's worth bearing in mind that Mega Moglification gives +4 skill.

I don't have the ability to test it, but I thought Mega Moglification gave +5 skill allowing one to reach 110 skill.

I've also been told that even though the stall gives Mega Moglification, it doesn't actually fully activate unless you have the other two furnishings as well.

Guess I need to start looking around for some real testing on these furnishings.

It might have been +5. It's been a while since I looked at the data, and was going off of what was on the wiki.

Ok... Running totals so far from testing: Advanced Support for every test.
Testing for +5 Mega Moglification Leathercraft with Tanner's Stall, Golden Fleece, and Tanner's sign
Dusk Gloves +1 -Lv. 99 - 14/100 (3 breaks, 0 loss)
Feral Jerkin - Lv. 79 - 5/24 (0 breaks)
Torama Gorget - Lv. 79 - 66/252 (ive been really bored at work) (14 breaks, 9 hides, 4 threads lost)

Testing with Tanner's Stall + Tanner's sign only
Torama Gorget - Lv. 79 - 7/84 (4 breaks, 4 hides, 2 threads lost)

Testing with Tanner's Stall + Golden Fleece only
Torama Gorget - lv. 79 - 5/48 (2 breaks, 2 theads, 2 hides lost)

@44k gp... need to test the hide stretcher after i get it..... but really someone help me out, ive spent like 1M at npc on these stupid hides lol.
edit: I forgot this... @5/22(hdies) Cerberus Mantle +1 with no support.. Desynthing nqs and resynthing until hq or break though. I have no idea how many synths total though.
I didn't read the whole thread, but further on, some people suggest the 50k GP item may only increase the break reduction from Mega Moglification.

It would make sense that it would be +5 skill, if its true that people are able to T1 dusk gloves. And so I don't start another thread, i'll ask here. If I remember correctly tiers are every 11 levels? And if so, is the highest tier 3?

Before someone says you should know this your 100, I was gone for quite awhile.

Tier 1 is 11 levels above. Tier 2 is 31 levels above. Tier 3 is 51 levels above.

I prefer using the phrases Tier 11, Tier 31 and Tier 51, just so it's easier to communicate when you hit the tier.

Hi again, I just got the stall made last night and it gave me mega moglification. I now have the fleece and stall. It was said somewhere above that the signboard was needed to fully activate. Is that true or is it already activated?

You need the stall, signboard, and the 150k GP Furnishing item to receive the +5 skill bonus from Mega Moglification.

Ok, I was just confused when my mega moglification was saying "increases your leathercrafting skill immensely" well 80/200k so far.
