Tonight I was on the ferry going after said fish in subject and was fishing by a a japanese player. He was unbelievable. Used only an albatross ring and had to nail every fish that bit. Pulled up 6 gugrus and from watching his rod that was every time he reeled in.
So this has me thinking as I have read some post that people try to get to a certain fps to have the best attempt. I have gone through 10 charges of penguin ring and only 3 gugru's for it so ya, I'm struggling a bit on this and seeking some comfort or perhaps a tip. If I slow my computer to much the rod jumps alot. This use to deplete the stamina holding the rod to side longer but seems to me it has changed.
Though I know there is a sweet spot and there will be some fish I can't reel in namely due to game mechanics I wanted to ask a couple questions to those that have or are going through this.
1) Do you know how many fps you are doing and if so, how are you seeing your frames per second.
2) If no fps, are you just barely lagging game or on a verge of epic computer crash? Pun intended
3) I've done over 300 gugrusaurus turn ins so have the patience to get quest done. Rather have a brk pole or line than to miss every time. Makes me think player was using a playstation console as my friends have said it is alot easier to reel in.
4) Do you tap or hold down button to reel in? I would of hoped that having a stall and gear that puts me around 105+ that the stamina regen of fish in neutral position would not be as severe as it is. Can we even critical strike on epic/legendary fish?
Well, back to fishing....
