On its own, Alchemy isn't very sub reliant. Personal suggestion would just be to keep it at 60 and find another, more profitable craft that might catch your eye. Alchemy's largest problem is simply having too few synths to satisfy the large number of Alchemists because it's an easier craft to level. Just take a moment, go through all medicines on the AH we can make, and then realize how useless a lot of them are given cost or performance issues. Assault also says hello, and /NIN laughs at your oil and powder.
