Goldsmithing. Gold beastcoin farming spot?Follow

Hey guys! Just a quick feeler. I've tried a few different places to farm gold beastcoins for goldsmithing skillups and have yet to find a decent place. I tried western altepa for 3~ hours and got 0. Anyone care to share their good spot for farming these? THANKS!!!

Why not buy them on the AH? Leveling gold on gold ingots is relatively cheap until 54.

Afterwards it's ridiculously expensive.

But if you are intend on farming, go to Beadeaux and Qulun Dome. They drop from Platinum Quadavs, and you can steal them from Ancient, Darksteel and Sapphire Quadavs.

Beastmen don't actually drop gold beastcoins all that often, even with TH2 or more. Only one mob in Western Altepa does so, according to the quick wiki check I just did.

If you don't want to just buy the gold beastcoins off the AH, you have to be able to steal them. You can steal them from many coffer key dropping mobs, and I've also stolen them from the beastmen in WoTG areas. In the past, even a Yagudo Acolyte in West Saruta_S has gold.

As any THF will tell you, however, Steal is a rough proposition at best. You're best off going to a beastmen stronghold, farming the mobs for scrolls, and selling those in order to buy the gold beastcoins from the AH.

Frankly, my best source of gold beastcoins has been chocobo digging, but you're unlikely to get any by that method if you don't have digging leveled some.

I've spent hours trying to steal beastcoins and it really isn't worth the effort because the chance of getting them are so low.

It's probably better to find another means of making gil and using other recipes to level skill for goldsmithing.

I'd post a link to wiki but it seems I've broken it because it wont load up for me.
What I can say is be ready to craft your own claws and mythril sheets for this recipe.

59-60 goldsmithing, I made mythril cuisses.
Not as time consuming to make as hydro claws but you got to make a lot of mythril sheets before hand as it can work out cheaper that way.


Sell both items to NPC to make a little bit of gil back.

Best place I have found to steal Gold Coins in Castle Ostroja. It works out great cause you can farm scrolls and steal coins as well while farming. Also opening a coffer here and there is nice also while stealing coins. Good Luck stealing friend!!!
