Coral Fragments?Follow

A friend asked me to fish some of these up for him. After about 5 or 6 hours in Sea Serpent Grotto, Labyrinth of Onzozo and Korroloka Tunnel, I found myself with 1 coral fragment in all. Did they nerf the 'bite' rates or what? The last time I tried to fish these was back in like 2005 or 2006 and as I remember it line breaks were the bigger issue with these. I mean they were still rare but not to such extent.

Yes coral fragments were hit a while ago. I wouldn't even bother in Onzozo. I believe the majority of fragments now probably come from choco digging. You can excavate for coral as well but no idea how the rate for them on that is.

Tried clamming would only see maybe 1-4 per hr or if you get very unlucky a rock might bust your bucket that you carrying the fragments in.

The majority of them probably do come from digging because so many people dig (and very few people bother clamming or excavating). However since zones are frequently dug out your best bet is probably clamming. I've heard of people regularly pulling in 1/2 stack an hour once you get good at it. Just remember to bring some movement speed gear (Sprinter's Shoes if nothing else is available).
