My chocobo is a green chocobo on day 54 the problem is with its affection because everytime I try to raise its affection it becomes spoiled and I have to scold it.. and you would guess it lowers affection. I didn't neglect it and have taken it off affection lowering plans for quite awhile. Tried celerity salad (boosts up its affection by a degree) but then it turns spoiled the next day and avoiding cupid worm because it lowers highest stat. Any advice please.. It is stuck around seems to endure/likes being around you.

Are you feeding it azouph/sharug greens (whichever it likes, that is, "gobbles down in one gulp!" or some such)? Are you taking it to walks/reading to it/etc every day till its stamina is gone?

I have to admit, I never had any problems with affection, it was always maxed.

I tried azouph/gyshal/sharug it only munches contently. I do long/regular and or let it compete against other till it gone.

There really should be one green that it has a preference to. When you use that it will boost the affection more effectively. Outside of that, are you feeding your chocobo until it is full? You should be able to get in two greens, even if you feed it a carrot as well I believe. Or lacking that, just do a day of greens when you notice the affection dropping. Does it like Sandy carrots? I had one friend whose chocobo liked those. Basically find the food that your 'bo likes best and stuff them with it for a day or two.

For being spoiled, I'm not sure what else you can do about that. A regime of favorite foods will far outweigh a scolding for affection though.

I am feeding it till it is full I usually do 2x carrots/green. It doesn't like any carrots but vomp (contently but sometimes gobble).

Feed the items one at a time, not all at once.

If you are working on DSC, Celerity Salads raise DSC and also are usually affection food.

P. S. Never lower the stamina bar all the way, leave 5 - 10%

I feed it individually to see what green it likes best but it eats "quietly" or munches contently but I am working on DSC and trying to make it learn gallop and canter. Thanks for the tip but it still becomes spoiled after trying to raise its affection.
