Hi all,

I was flipping through pages of food looking for new and unusual cuisine when I stumbled upon this dish (Loach Slop < Loach Gruel < Loach Soup). Alla/Wiki/FFXIAH don't have info on it so I wonder if it's really ever been made?

The recipe itself is quite a handful:
Cooking 51
Key Item: Stewpot Mastery
{Fire Crystal}
1x Soy Stock (Gotten only from guild)
1x Bird Egg
2x Brass Loach (Fished only from Witchfire Glenn, in Grauberg)
1x Burdock (Harvested in Grauberg, or in Saruta_S)
1x Cibol
1x Distilled Water
1x Two-leaf mandragora bud (R/X)

Now, I know that higher cooking cap often doesn't translate into meaningfully better product, but for a group food effect that requires a craft item and is 51 AND takes ingredients from all over the world, including some dangerous spots AND has a rare/ex thrown in just to make sure you can never make more than one a time, it has to be good, right?

Anyone know anything about this thing's effects? Or willing to waste an hour+ of your life for the benefit of scientific inquiry? ^^;

The most difficult task would be to find any cook who got the Stewpot Mastery.
I know I didn't and don't intend to. Ever.
But I'm pretty curious about the effect too.

Wow, super thanks Guppie!

That's a pretty good food, actually. It strikes me as ideal for events (or certain camps, like birds) where many people just don't use anything. The ingredients are pretty lousy, though. Can't think there'd be enough demand for this dish to keep the AH well-stocked with Burdock or Brass Loaches.
