I had to take my pc to the shop recently, and in the meantime I used my Playstation 2 while I fished.
I fished outside Bastok Mines along the shore. There I caught Gold Lobsters, Bastore Breams and Ogre Eels. I had no problem at all catching them. I never lost a catch nor broke a rod. I used a Halycon fishing rod and used a sinking minnow for bait. I level'd from 32-38 on these fish while my pc was in the shop. This happened over several weeks time.
Now that I have my pc back, I can't catch these fish. I am using the exact same fishing pole and the exact same bait. I am also standing in the same spot where I fished before. I even went as far as buying a new PC controller thinking that maybe it was my numberpad on my keyboard which was causing me not to catch the fish, but the controller didn't help either.
I am wondering if there is a difference between fishing on a pc using the numberpad and the playstation 2 controller as far as the fish gauge strength speed is concerned.
I think both of these should be the same. No matter if you are fishing on a PC or a playstation 2 or an Xbox360, the gauge of the fish's strength should remain the same, and the fish should be able to be caught the same.
There is a very large difference between the PC and the playstation 2 when it comes to catching fish. Has anyone else noticed this?
