I've been all over forums on alla and wiki and still cannot decide on a craft to choose. Not to be like everyone else on the forums but... which one will be the most profitable / fun to level. Length of time for items to sell is not really an issue. please I'm open to any opinions but please don't make this into a hate thread. I also plan on farming most of the materials since I have no end game shell I have plenty of time for that. Please post any help that you can :)
leathercraft, bonecraft, not alchemy (everyone suggests alchemy to many people lvling it now! ; ;)

Well I would like to make things that I can equip as well as things that sell well. I have most of the mage jobs fully leveled and some assorted DDs leveled so I was thinking mostly between Clothcraft / Leathercraft / Smithing / Goldsmithing / and fishing.

My only real advice is that you should pick a craft based in whatever city you like the most. I'm a woodworker, which is fun, but I'm also from Windurst, so I have to spend a lot of time in North San d'Oria when I'd rather be frolicking in Windurst Woods haha :)
Umm... I've heard that Goldsmithing costs the most to level, but pays off the most in the end. Other than that, not too sure.

If you're unwilling to do much research (as suggested by making this thread) I suggest you level Fishing.
It takes plenty of time, which you have, and some things take longer to sell (or you end up with a lot to sell which takes time.) Later down the track after you're better versed in the way of the worlds and can find things out for yourself, Cooking would be good to level to complement your fishing skills.

Thanks for the posts. I have done reasearch on all the crafts just nothing really stuck out as something exciting to level. But fishing was one of the ones I have been thinking about over the others.
fishing is pretty good it can be fairly profitable just remember
it takes a long long time to skill up
and if your going to take it to 100 i'd consider lvling woodworking at the same time to fix lu shang rods (remember you can take both fishing and another craft to 100)

edit - totally forgot to reply to OP that sh*t was so funny.
Level what you want to make. Just take them all to 60 and look at the recipes above that and then pick. Maybe you want to make lots of money (see Busa's post), maybe you want to make some item like Dusk Gloves +1, Haubergeon +1, or even go for Cursed Hauberk -1. If you don't know now, then don't worry. Tbh, unless you really like crafting you'd probably be better off just farming for your money.
