Reason I ask is because I love fishing, and as a result plan on going all the way with a Lu Shangs. I'm also going to have corsair as my primary job, so the bullets are gonna need to be flowing.

Which would you suggest levelling on a mule? Seeing as I'd like to have both high, I'd like to know which is less beneficial as a sub craft for my main. It doesn't seem like either of them crop up often in other crafts, but I'd like to hear a general consensus before I start dumping time and effort into pushing one high.
Any feedback is appreciated.
I'll add to your confusion

If you really like fishing, consider leveling cooking on your main. Consider stationing your main in Windurst.
Then make a mule to level Alchemy, with Smithing and Goldsmithing subs for your bullets. Station this one in Bastok.
Then make another mule to level Woodworking to fix your rods. Station this one in San d'Oria.
I know... it is $1 a month extra from what you intended, but believe me... if you take crafting seriously, you will love the fact that you have (an) extra mule(s) for temporary storage and increased AH slots. Not to mention the benefits of having a char in most (or all) major cities for easy access to local vendors and guild shops.
