Alchemy or WW on mule?Follow

Reason I ask is because I love fishing, and as a result plan on going all the way with a Lu Shangs. I'm also going to have corsair as my primary job, so the bullets are gonna need to be flowing.

Which would you suggest levelling on a mule? Seeing as I'd like to have both high, I'd like to know which is less beneficial as a sub craft for my main. It doesn't seem like either of them crop up often in other crafts, but I'd like to hear a general consensus before I start dumping time and effort into pushing one high.

Any feedback is appreciated.

I'm not sure what your dilemma is? Which is less beneficial as a sub craft for your main ... craft ... job?

Out of the two crafts, Alchemy goes nicely with fishing in terms of changing what you fished up into products. Woodworking is nice for a fisherman in order to repair LuShang (it's nice to be able to fix on your main without having to move it to a mule).

I leveled alchemy on a mule. Alchemy is relatively easy to do on a mule. Remember you'll need to level goldsmithing and smithing if you want to make the gamut of bullets. Alchemy turns up in cross crafts of weapons with added effects to them.

I'll add to your confusion Smiley: laugh.

If you really like fishing, consider leveling cooking on your main. Consider stationing your main in Windurst.

Then make a mule to level Alchemy, with Smithing and Goldsmithing subs for your bullets. Station this one in Bastok.

Then make another mule to level Woodworking to fix your rods. Station this one in San d'Oria.

I know... it is $1 a month extra from what you intended, but believe me... if you take crafting seriously, you will love the fact that you have (an) extra mule(s) for temporary storage and increased AH slots. Not to mention the benefits of having a char in most (or all) major cities for easy access to local vendors and guild shops.

Ah yes, sorry for the confusion. Demetres hit the nail on the head though, and I appreciate the feedback.
