Chocobo care plan questionFollow

I was just wondering exactly how often would should rest their chocobo when doing the more strenuous trainings like carry packages. Seems one should try to do it as little as possible, since you can't feed during those days.

I never rested my chocobos. It seemed like the only reason to rest would be to cure it from illnesses, but any illnesses can be cured with food without losing any days of training.

I never rested mine either and he ended up with maxed Strength and Endurance.

This guide did me well while raising my Chocobo.

Hear is an excerpt from the care-plans section in that guide regarding rest:

Rest- you should NEVER need to use this. we learned it wasn't necissisary during the choco sleeping glitch. If your chocobo expends all of its energy/HP without being fed it will automatically enter sleep mode for one day to replenish its energy/HP.
