I've just reached rank 31 which means I can start using the stat rings at optimal rank and I was curious to know what other gladiators are using for their accessory slots to get some ideas of what's working. Any feedback is much appreciated!

When you check the Neck, Ring and Earring at these lvl, you see that they all take 3 slot each, but when you check the Earring it only give you normal attribute and not a lot (defense, evasion...) the Neck give a +2 for a stats (STR, VIT, DEX...) but the Ring give a +5. I'm only lvl 22, but when I will be 30 I would probably use a mix of Sunstone Ring (STR+5) and Fluorite Ring (DEX+5) because I always try to cap my VIT and with that I would get some more STR/DEX.

I don't remember for sure... but I thought I read somewhere that it was pretty much confirmed that adding VIT from accessories AFTER you have reached your maximum VIT for that rank (meaning you aren't gaining any more HP) will still in fact be effective for damage mitigation. Although your HP will not rise from any points over the max, the vitality stats from gear are not wasted.

anyone know anything else about this or has confirmed it?

I have 4 silver rings and 4 sphene rings. I just switch em around as needed. But since everyone is sping on EP mobs nowadays, maybe you should get some DEX/STR ones.

Why waste points in +VIT rings when you NEVER get HP from them? It doesn't matter if you are at cap or not, you don't get HP. Sure, you can get defense, but you are better off getting STR rings, dropping the points you have point into STR and putting them in VIT to increase defense, and get HP from it.

I haven't upgraded my jewelry yet, as it doesn't seem like a big upgrade at the moment. I will probably end up picking up 4 +5 STR rings, or wait and get 3 +7, and then move some points to VIT from STR.

More defense might be something I look into later, but right now, the VIT rings do not seem worth it at all.

Well, I guess until someone figures out exactly how much STR affects your defense with shield, or someone figures out exactly how much damage reduction you get from extra vitality points, putting extra points in str OR vit is a viable method...

(of course I mean after you are maxed on vit and are not receiving any more HP)

That would be a a little silly to me though... if 20 STR gave you a higher defense boost than 20 VIT. I would be shocked if SE goofed enough to make STR rings give you better chances at survival than VIT rings.

I think I'll stick with the VIT rings til people figure it out. Mind rings aren't horrible either if you are NOT capped in mind already, AND you use cures and such. Of course it's situational. I know better than to full-time any gear regardless of what we're doing.
