sure it sounds awesome. youre swinging your axe. and its brutal. but at the core of it, it just seems like a more expensive skull sunder only without the DoT effect. it has the same aoe effect as SS when in steadfast, but costs twice as much. its only saving grace is the blunt damage modifier, so i suppose it could be pretty nice on blunt-weak mobs but....nice enough to keep on your bar in favor of another ability that would benefit you more?
hard to say. my decision currently is that no, it is not nice enough to keep on my bar. maybe time will change that, but for now its safely tucked away in my axe menu.
opinions on brutal swing?

It's you're big blunt damage attack. So far it seems to be more effective against crabs and wraiths than other slashing dmg abilities.
as you get higher in level, brutal swing beings to surpass trunksplitterI&II against IT mobs, in terms of damage.
but you should still just spam skull sunder and trammel for SP/hour (double proc, half cost = 4x better SP/hour)
