Action PointsFollow

Sry if this question has been asked but I can't seem to find it anywhere.. I'm a Rank 4 Pug but I don't have any Action Points available to me. I'm starting to rack up possible abilities like Concussive Blow and Light Strike but there's no points available to assign these skills. I keep reading that you automatically start with 6 action points. Am I not doing something to gain said ap? As far as equipment I only have starting weapon and armor, does this affect anything?

Have you equipped any skills yet, or are you just using Heavy Strike so far? If you haven't equipped any skills, when you pull up the Action/Trait screen, it should show 0/x Action Points at the top--x standing for how many points are available. Actions like Concussive blow take 3 to equip, Light Strike takes 0. When you log on next, try using this macro:

/eaction 2 "Light Strike
/eaction 3 "Concussive Blow

That will equip those actions on your action bar in those slots (change the numbers as you will). As you gain higher ranks, more AP will become available to you. If that doesn't work, it sounds like your char might be bugged.

Edit: P.S. It's strange, but you don't need a parenthesis at the end of an item/action/etc.'s name, just at the start.

Got it to work, Thanks! It seems like i was confusing the 0/9 to mean that I had 0 Action Points available to me, but in reality it meant that there are 9 AP that I have left to fill the empty slots with :O Thanks again, that helped.
