Red Lotus Blade, Circle Slash, Spinstroke, Phalanx... So far all of them have the same attack animation on my Highlander. Is it the same for all races?
You've got a beautiful game, keep it beautiful! Hopefully this changes! If I do [awesome epic ws] and my character does the same spinning motion I'm going to fall off my chair (again).

I've noticed this too... it is a bit boring to watch... plus i imagine my character would get dizzy after spinning around so much.
I hope its just placeholder animation... but given that ffxi had the same physical animation for every ability every job had until dancer was introduced I don't have very much hope. =/

Luminous Spire has a great animation. You do a front flip.

Holy hell that's what I'm talking about!!! :D
It might be worth keeping in mind that extra animations might be some of the data they kept out of the beta client to try to keep the client size down. SE is saying 22GB for the retail client, we downloaded a 4.7GB beta client and the patches we've seen since have typically been only 5-9mb.
