God i think i got into a japanise only server... sigh... i haven't seen anyone speaking english yet.
The other option were lame also.. freak name servers...
any idea or sugestion?

I've found it much harder than ff11 to socialize with people. I see people with LS on everywhere but no luck getting into one.

Yea.. it does seem like a majority of players who are in open beta are japanese.
It's hard to get even 1 person to respond to a shout or a /say within a group of players where I KNOW at least 40 are in that spot. Like at an Aetheryte crystal in a camp.

Yes, I am having a hard time finding a linkshell. I want to join one early on and build some new friendships this time around.
Besaid seems to have a fair bit of English-speaking players in open beta, might want to try that out...

I've found that, because the chatlog fills up so quickly, most people dont even see when someone talks to them. It moves by so quickly and messages stretch out to the point where it takes up multiple chatlines. There's no way to stretch the chatlog horizontally, or else it will overlap the action bar which you cannot move
