I have a friend playing Beta and this is what he says...
Okay so most of you already know this, but Archers are mainly going Thaumaturge and Conjuror for second class personally I think Thaumaturge will own because of the way you have to spend stat points, but if i can get the correct accuracy gear with both archer and conj, then it can be done so that you have most stat points to go on Archer DAMAGE stat (prolly str) ABSOLUTELY NON on vitality, because your range, DUH, be in a party get a tank......(of course you can always respec, but I don't know how much VIT makes a difference to your health, i forsee about 5-10 levels making a 1-2 extra hits before u die, which is great, but I'd prefer LUCK for Crits (if such a thing exists) STR for that extra dmg.
and for the conj simple, healing spell maxed out pretty high
STR put 10-20% rest gear
DEX etc 10% rest gear
conjur's equivalent to DEX same as DEX
HEALING SPELLS 50%
FIRE, THUNDER etc. (your choice here) 25%
that should be perfect, equipt provides damage and accuracy, foods give health mp stamina tp, or wotever im not sure how it'll work out, healing is a MUST for soloing and lets u turn conj mode to heal your party and also do sum damage.
it's not bullet proof but i think it's better keeping in tact with those who like to play RANGE.
no one seems to talk about gear and how it's stats will work out.
Personally i see no point going insane putting stats to do extra damage and accuracy if your going arch conj, for soloing your going to need all the juice u can get from healing.
I imagine this for solo (for harder targets of course)
conj HOLD TARGET
switch to archer mode
PWN,
target gets close, switch to conj, hold again, run then use a thunder move to stun, a ice move to slow movement, kite sumore, repeat.
by the second wave of attack your TP will be full so when you go archer, just unleash all your deadlys.
I imagine hold will come in handy for waiting for stamina to recover also, this seems like a great tactic as I do not imagine a pure archer to be able to hold it's own too much in closer ranged combat and i cant see de-activate, run, attack to work.......i think you will be running too slowly to make any descent ground.
People have only been playing around the LL town, so there hasn't been much access to the whole game, and while some people have supposedly complained about getting too much exp for doing anything......it seems to be a troll comment, many people seem to be enjoying the game immensely.

Archer...Glad or Lancer will actually be the best build in my head for a damage spec, I will probably play with either until I find it time to party with lots of people for bigger stuff....that way while im using my "naive" spec or levelling spec I can just pump it all into STR and DEX being a pure dmg menace......
I tihnk you will be ok with either.....bigger stornger mobs in groups of say 2-3 come onto you, archer might mean u can pick em off solo, in which case, lancer would be better, but if 3 mobs will come running then maybe glad seems better.
