It seems like everything I hear about is for pugilist, lancer, and gladiator. Does anyone have some good marauder info? Like what the class will play like, etc... I've read the wiki about the different skills they mention, but it really doesn't seem like anyone has posted ANYTHING else about them. So if you have links or info, post em here.

But of things that are already publicly known... Hm. You can only talk so much about Marauders having beastly damage output, below average accuracy, and several AoE attacks.. before it get's a little old.
Lancers have a little bit more to talk about since they aren't as straightfoward as our class. I guess. >.<

i have lots of good info on the marauder class. unfortunately, thats because im in the beta, and thanks to that little NDA, i cant say anything that hasnt already been said (i.e. what moki said).
you use a 2h axe, some of your skills have aoe capabilities, and if you stand still longer you get a buff that makes your attacks stronger in some way. thats all i can really say, but again, its nothing that isnt already known.
im in the process of writing up a little marauder intro guide for when the NDA drops. soon as i can ill post it, but until then youll just have to believe us when we say its pretty damn cool.

You lucky S.O.B. I have to settle for my neighbor's get together every other weekend or so. For some strange reason quiet a few German Officers rent homes in my neighborhood. Thankfully they all then gather next door on Sunday's and share in their festivities. I had planned on going to Germany with my sister for Oktoberfest & to track down the extended family. Sadly I am having to burn a good chunk of leave on a cruise I'm being dragged on in May.

if i have anything to do with it, yes. kyo and gaxe will help as well im sure.
my personal suspicion is that at or near the beginning of beta phase 3 (maybe a week or two in at most) theyll lift the NDA, or at least relax it enough that some more info can come out. the upcoming changes for beta 3 are very robust; lots of sh*t is changing, including a lot of interface based stuff and i think even the addition of new classes.
honestly, im pretty excited about it, but phase 3 beta will be starting right around the time college kicks back up for me, so we'll see how much time i have.

If Marauder is defined it is :to roam or go around in quest of plunder; make a raid for booty (from dictionary.com). I would imagine a Two Handed Weapon user that smashes people into a pulp. By all means probably the MDD for close combat. It would be great to get more info on the classes, and it is so close to launch, why can't September 22nd/30th hurry up and get here.

I have a feeling Archers are going to be the "it" DD for a while like they were in XI unless they change the way their lv30 skill works. 1.2k damage in a flash is just sexy. I like this, though, because I can be smashing things long before everyone thinks we're cool, just like WAR.
