Casual Player Looking for FCFollow

I'm shopping for a FC. I am a Casual player, still learning, looking to make a server move and find a FC that I fit in. NA, eastern time zone

I'm looking to take advantage of the upcoming server migrations to get off the JP server I am on now. I am very casual, I don't play everyday, but I loved FFXI and now I'm in love with FFXIV and I'm here for the long haul. But I'm not exactly an expert gamer. I'm not accustomed to the frenetic pace of the dungeons yet, FFXI was much more methodical. But I'd like to find a FC that isn't just hardcore end-gamers (not wrong with end-game, but I can't keep up with that yet). I've been playing since beta 4 and I'm stuck at Titan with my WHM 36. Stuck, mostly because I dread going back into that fight because I feel so inadequate. But I'm not a quitter; I will just keep pushing.

I also play with a controller on both PC and PS3, so I'll be the first to admit that I can't keep up with hardcore gamers. I just need to find a home that I can make some friends, help each other out, and a place where I don't feel stupid because my gaming skills are retarded.

Mostly, I just want to make some friends and hope I can help others out as my skill level increases.

If you think I'd be a good fit in your FC, please let me know. I don't even know what server I'm going to yet. I was thinking I'd find a good FC and that will decide where I move to.

I'm not trying to be down on myself, I just want to be honest. My gaming reflexes suck. I'm kinda used to old school turned-based RPGs. Not sure why I loved FFXI, but it was very slow paced, so I could kinda keep up with the pacing of battle. But I love love love FFXIV ARR and I feel like I've found my game home for the next decade. I eventually will be a good player, doing all that end-game stuff I only hear about, but for now, I know I have a lot to learn, but I have a low tolerance for jerks. Mostly cause I know when a jerk tells me I suck, he is probably right. But I can't learn and get better if I don't try. And I do try hard. I need some friends that will help me and I love to help others. And I love to joke around and have fun.
