Hey everyone, my name is Luminance or Lum and I know some of you guys are looking for a guild to be a part of. If you are looking for a place to call home and friends to share your adventures with, Morningstar may be for you. If you're interested please continue reading below:

History and About Us: Morningstar is a multi-gaming community that has chapters in several games including Runes of Magic, World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Star Wars The Old Republic and now Final Fantasy XIV – Diabolos Server. We have been around since 2010 with over 150+ active community members strong and well over 1,000+ guild members across all the games we currently play. We started this guild and community to prevent players from ever needing to find a new guild again; when a member wishes to try a new game we do our best to get a group of people to play with them so that you always have friends to play with. At the end of the day the focus of our guild is for our members to have fun. We feel like we are indeed the People’s Guild. Our people consist of former paid GMs from previous games including Everquest; consist of former Guild Leaders with more than 1 year of tenor from any specific game, several players who play at a competitive level, hardcore, casual, officers from many different games, pvp only players, and more.

What about FFXIV? While our guild does not have a set goal we want to grow to be one of the largest if not the largest guild on the server, we want to give players an opportunity to be a large part of the guild and feel like they have a voice, and we want to give players an opportunity to do what they feel like would be fun in the game. We will most likely have full raiding groups inside the game itself and we have been very successful in the past recruiting for and managing multiple raid groups for our games we play as we don't want any player to be left out. I am a big pvp player myself so that is something we will be doing as well.

What does Morningstar have to offer? Morningstar has a custom-build website (we’ve redone the website 6 times) and currently we have finalized it. We have an uncapped voice chat server and we use mumble as our weapon of choice. The info will be open for anybody that wants to join our mumble server even if you are not part of a guild and you want to join us to have somebody to chat with. Please no trolls!! Though we have cookies…

Also which I feel like is our biggest strength is our people. Some of us live, breath, and eat MMOs. We understand gaming and we understand gamer mentality. We are not a fly by night guild. How do I join? There is no fancy application to type or write. It’s very simple. Join us on mumble or join our website. We will be online in game for Phase 4 and that is when linkshell and company invites will start. We are about longevity and we will be playing FFXIV for the long haul.
