Experience MMO'er LF Solid PVE LSFollow

#1 Jun 30 2013 at 7:25 PM Rating: Decent
Like the title says, I'm looking for solid pve based LS that strives for progression, teamwork, knows how to have fun but also gets stuff done. I'm also looking for linkshell that plans on doing their events later in the evening, around 8:30-9CST, 6:30-7 PST, 9:30-10 EST, due to work and family life . . . this is the time I can log without interruptions.

My experience includes:

FFXI - sky, HNM, dynamis, etc - thf/nin, rng/war/sam/nin (rng was my main), Corsair

SWTOR - All content, up to the Rise of the Hut Cartel as a Marauder and a Sentinel

WoW - Vanilla - all content including Naxx (World top 50) (rogue)

TBC - all content, 4/6 pre-nerf, 6/6 day of nerf (rogue)

WotLK - all content including hard modes, I had to quit shortly before the release of ICC due to new baby, moving, work, just real life issues that more important (rogue)

Wrath - all content including hard modes (paladin)

Mist - I played for a little bit, but I just really got tired of wow and the community

Other games I played, but nothing too serious include: AoC, warhammer, everquest 2, GW2

I'm a pretty chill guy who is just looking for a solid group people to get into FFXIV with who are pretty chill, and enjoy downing content and just messing around in game with on off nights. I've pre-ordered the game, and I've been trying to get into beta but I've had no luck so far -_- Thanks for checking out my post! please free to PM or just reply back if you are interested or want more info.

Hey man! Just wanted to get back to you about your post. I created a gaming community with its own website and at the moment we just have 6 people in game. But its sure to grow once open beta in phase 4 starts. Are you on PS3 or PC?

What guilds were you in in WoW?

<Paradigm> Is a guild consisted of long time friends who have raided with the best of the best in prior MMO's and are making the switch to ARR. We have been part of multiple top 10 US kills in World of Warcraft, and top 10 world kills in SWTOR.

<Paradigm> is looking for members who want to see end game content at a fast pace, and push for server firsts, along with top world kills on a casual schedule. Our raid times are Tuesday-Thursday from 9 - 11 30 PM PST with Sundays 8-11 30 PM PST for progression nights(we may only use Sundays 1-2 times per month when we are on progression fights).

We are also looking for members who do their research. We are not here to hold your hands and carry you through fights, so we expect all members to come to raids prepared(IE food buffs, already repaired, money to repair, and the knowledge of the fight prior to pulling)

If you're looking for a fun time with good people who can hammer out end-game on a regular basis, Sibyl's Secret Service is where to look.

SSS focused on FFXI for a while, but closed it's doors a while after the first FFXIV flopped. We're just getting back together and bringing new members in while we're at it. The community we're part of has been around for 16 years (darkjedi.org, DJO), so we've got quite a few who have been gaming together longer than they've been with their spouse. That being said, many of us know all about balancing gaming with family and the rest of life (and those who don't understand hear all about it pretty quick).. We're very chill that way. Most of us are just out there to have fun, but we pretty much all get into end-game content. There are always a bunch of us looking to get through end-game, so there's not often a shortage of opportunity to get into groups.

We haven't got the site fully up and running again yet, just in a staging area at DJO, but you're welcome to come by and say hello and get started with us if you'd like to give us a try. For the time being, we're using the following as our main forum:
http://www.darkjedi.org/club/DCG/forums/?cl=2167
(from dcg.darkjedi.org, Forums menu, and click "SSS")

Once we get SSS fully re-opened, you'll be able to find us at sss.darkjedi.org.

If you have any questions, feel free to drop me a PM. :)

You'd fit in great with Efficacy. Events primarily occur between 9pm and 12am CST on weekdays and at various times on weekends.

We are an organized group of mature, skilled, efficacious gamers who focus our cooperative efforts in order to achieve a high degree of success in whatever we do. Our goal is to have fun while remaining effective. We do not strive for military efficiency but we expect all members to put forth a reasonable effort. While no one is pressed to be an immediate expert, a willingness to learn and apply what is taught is expected.

We stand by the following principles:
(1) All events are non-mandatory -- No one is expected to prioritize the game over real life.
(2) The point of gaming is to have fun -- Having fun in a cooperative MMO often requires effort. We don't ask for masterful performance, but we do ask that our members endeavor for success.
