Played XI on and off since US PS2 release, Oolie/Fenrir server. Played WOW for less than a year, got bored of it.
I'll usually be on a few hours a day, more on my days off work. (Days off vary by week)
Plan to stick around for XIV endgame, whenever it's implemented
I just want a stable ls that has players with a good amount of MMO experience. I'm familiar with BG from XI, spent many hours on your website as a resource compendium.
I'm 23, Active Duty Military. I'll be headed to Iraq in a few weeks so for the next six months my playtime could be limited, however when I get back I'll be jumping right back in.

Call me skeptical, but I highly doubt the original BG crew would resort to macro recruiting, much less on Alla.

Theres not exactly an large influx of players to choose from. With no official server forums we need to branch out a little and suck up whatever pride you may think we have that would keep us from posting on alla. Even one or two worthy apps here and there will help.

Well I'm not going to lie. Other then to make new Friends I would like to be able to progress in the game at a rate of Epic and I believe the only way to do that in Square Enix MMO's is to Team up. So the pursuit of Gear and Ultimately Power!

MMO Experience: My first MMO was Final Fantasy XI, which I played for about 1-2 years around the ToAU period on the Hades server. I never reached lv75, so I have no end-game experience from it. After FFXI, I played WoW for a couple of years, most of them in the WotLK expansion. I have also tried Aion, which I frankly did not like at all.
Playtime:
Sunday: Most of the day, depending on the size of the pile of homework on my desk.
Monday: After 16:00 (GMT+1) till ~23:00 (GMT+1), sometimes less due to homework or other things.
Tuesday: Same as Monday
Wednesday: Same as Monday
Thursday: Same as Monday
Friday: After 15:00 (GMT+1) till ~01:00 (GMT+1) next day, if I am not doing other things.
Saturday: All day, if I am not doing other things.

I plan to stick around for as long as the game keeps me entertained. I have not really been looking into what end game in FFXIV will be like, but I hope I will get to experience it someday. I will play as much as my schedule allows me to, which tends to be quite a lot.

I have only been playing the game for three days and I am already starting to feel the want for some people to hang around. In other words, what I seek is a couple of good online friends to chat with. I expect that the Linkshell will not consist of a group of people where 8/10 hardly know how to write anything else than: "OMG LOL WTF NOOB" which I really do not think will be the case.

I am 18 years old and am currently working towards the IB diploma, which means that the amount of homework I have each day will vary greatly from week to week, which at times will, to a great extent, compromise my playtime. My final exams are coming up in April - May 2011, so do not expect to see that much of me during those two months.
That aside, I am what you would call a geek. I have few hobbies, and the ones I have include cooking, drawing and reading (for the most part manga). Any time that is not spent on those three, schoolwork or exercise (I do not do that too often) will be spent in front of my computer or other gaming systems.
Also, despite the fact that my character is a Miqo'te, I am a male.
