whats up with all the anti social linkshells in ffxiv @_@??
i been in 3 so far and its like a ghost town members are logged on but no one talks at all, or someone always has to challenge everything you say. like if i say the "the is sky's blue" someone says "not really its the atmosphere and it reflects blah blah" for everything someone says omg, or the one who thinks there GOD cuz they play 16hr's a day.
well atleast i can solo till something comes around, just annoying to always see someone with a personality issues on a game that can do nothing for you but have alittle fun with.

i can agree and i believe its because most ppl in LS's or better yet in the game period only care about their progress and have no time to even associatte with others. most also have their own little group that they stick to within the LS and if thats the case then its not a LS at all. their are ls's out there who are social. but just like any game the good ls's will be harder to find. there is a ls thread in this forum check it out. shows all ls's that are recruiting and gives info about them. also take some time to read The Dark Hadou recruit thread, we would be happy to have you if our ls is to your liking.
most LS will be useless, cuz everyone needs & wants but wont do anything unless they gain.
but i was lucky enough to finally find one thats active even though not much to do but leves & grinding but its something. better than solo grinding and helps build relationship with your LS.

probably what ZeretaiGoliath said. Like the one I am in, the 3 main people are always out doing thing together and stopping what they are doing to go repair or craft 1 thinig for each other, but they don't seem to really work that much with the others. They will help occasionally, but usually its cause they want me to heal them on stuff they want to do, then set the difficutly to max and get mad cause I cannot heal them fast enough when they get 2 shotted and it takes several deaths to finish it.
Other then about 2 or 3 of the others in the LS, I have never seen any other 12 or so even log on.
Might be looking for a new one, lol, actually I am.

you are a great addition to our LS maka and we enjoy having you along side the rest of us. we hope to find more members like yourself in the future =D
I also agree and find a very big difference from what i used to see in FF11. I think a lot has to do with the "new" way of gaming. The gamers nowadays use more Teamspeak or Ventrilo, and most play with a gamepad. So, in other words, players are sitting on a confy chair using a gamepad and are too lazy to use the keyboard to communicate. that being said, we will always find a Joe knows all in any linkshell, and those no life gamers who think FF14 is their main life. For me, FF14 is just my sub life. Anyway, no worries tough... you don't like your LS, leave. Don't give up that easely... you been playing only for a few days. In FF11 it was easier to find a nice LS, but even then, it had took me a few weeks before i was in a great LS. If you see me in game, send me a tell. I don't have a LS yet, but i'll be more then happy to chat with ya and add you to my flist. ^^

I have been very satisfied with my LS, if you are looking for the best LS on the server Hard Reef is the place to be. Everyone helps each other as much as they can. Always answers the questions you need answers to and you will always feel welcome. doesnt matter if you are rank 10 and ppl are rank 30-40, ppl are very nice to eachother. Very social place to be.

I am for Saronia and I know what you are talking about and I agree. Everyone is not helpful but I am aming to change that along with many other things.
