Title kinda says it all, but here's some more specific information in the form of a one sided Q and A.
Who are you?
We were a LS started by friends who originally played on the Lakshmi server in FFXI. We are all fun and easy going people who enjoy helping out others. Courtesy and kindness are important qualities that have held our group together in FFXI, and we hope that they will continue to do so in FFXIV. Over time, the LS has grown by leaps and bounds, we're well over 100 members! Due to the LS cap being set at 128, we've actually moved LSs twice to keep up with members.. Now's the perfect time to join us, we have essentially a 100% active LS of over 75 members! So if you are an active player looking for more active and friendly players, look no further!
What Kind of LS is it?
Right now, we can really only claim to be a Social LS. As we grow as players and as an LS, we hope to move toward being more event based. More than anything else, however, we hope to become a thriving community based around people who enjoy each others' company and willing to lend a helping hand to others in need. We have people across the spectrum of jobs and crafts, so there's always someone out there that can help you out!
What are your hours?
We are most active usually from 5PM EST (2PM PST) to about 5AM EST (2AM PST). So it is somewhat of a evening to late-night LS.
Are there any requirements?
No, anyone and everyone is welcome to join. But we strongly prefer people who are willing to be considerate to others and shy away from drama. Strong will to learn and explore are a bonus, since we hope to all be knowledgeable enough to help answer each others' questions. But most important of all, is the urge to have some fun!
Hey, you guys sound fun, but I have an LS already.
If you got another LS already, that's fine, we're not trying to steal you away, just trying to meet some new people. Take a pearl, come visit us every once in a while, we're cool with that. If your current LS is small or feeling lonely, no problem! Have everyone come one over, we welcome all here!
Anything else I should know?
We do have a small ventrilo server for the LS, and it is free to use for all members. As we grow, I will upgrade the server to accommodate more users. It is not a requirement but I personally think it is great to be able to place a voice to your fellow LS-mates. Plus, we are all very active on it, so its all the better if you can join us.
Who do I contact in game?
You can message me: Eigil Astaura. Just send me a tell explaining that you wish to join us, and I'd be happy to meet with you. We have access to all 3 cities, so don't worry about where to meet up, we'll come to you. Just a bump and an update, over the past few days we have really grown in numbers. Everyone that has joined have been fantastic people and we're almost up to 50 members. We're always looking for more fun people though, so don't feel intimidated, and feel free to send me a pm or /tell in game.
On a separate note, I understand that there are a lot of small LS communities growing out there, and I would love to help out any that want to branch out and extend to a larger community. I am under the philosophy that the more people there are that establish relationships with each other, the more things we can accomplish as a group.
I don't want anyone to feel like they have lost their sense of identity though, so I am offering the use of my ventrilo server to any small LSs out there that feel like they want to add voice chat to their available services. I can create separate rooms for you if you feel that is needed, or you can feel free to mingle and chat with our active members, all of whom are very friendly! There's no requirements, no obligations, no IOUs involved, just let me know, and I'll pass along the server information. You can keep your own shell, no need to join mine, I'm just hoping to meet some new people out there to enjoy this experience with :)

Just another Update on the LS, along with a bump. People have been so great on this server, I've really come to appreciate the decision in picking Selbina!

Another LS update! More and more people joining our little circle, which I can really no longer call little... We're getting really close to the 128 member cap! I don't know how other LS's deal with the problem of being unable to make more room for new invites, but we have decided to move the currently active members over to a new LS! The second LS is filling up fast as we invite more players and re-invite existing members, but it basically means that literally EVERYONE is active! There's no better time to join the LS than now! If there are any small LS's out there that feel like they have a hard time finding more people, feel free to join us and see how you like it! We're always looking to meet new people, and there are still absolutely no joining requirements!

Yet Another LS update! Due to finally hitting the 128 player cap (whoa!). We have all moved to the second LS: Noblesse Alliance. Thanks to the efforts of the Leaders and Members, the transition was painless and easy, everyone that was currently active was able to get a pearl in the week before the move. What really surprised me was that the new shell is already up to over 75 people! Here I was thinking that we would lose a lot of members in the transition, but boy was I wrong! Players continue to join the LS, and everyone is welcoming them with open arms!
Current player ranks are anywhere between the teens to the 30s. We have players leveling every craft (20 +)... the only thing missing is a dedicated alchemist! :P List Item Grind Parties and Leve parties are forming pretty much every night, there always someone interested when you have this many active members![/li]
If you are someone who's looking for a more active circle or a new player who wants to start off your experience in FF14 on a good note, let me know! We're always looking for good natured people who want to join our active community!

Alright! It's been a really busy last several weeks! I hope everyone's Thanksgiving have been productive, as we move forward to additional holiday shenanigans in December!
But Just a few things to update the current state of the LS!
I haven't posted an update on here because the second LS was filling so fast I was afraid of advertising for an LS that was going to be full right away! And to prove my fears correct, we hit the 128 cap again (whoa!) So the last week I had to remake the original LS: Noblesse Oblige and have another active member transfer. Now that is finished, we are once more taking members!
Nothing's really changed, we're still helpful and friendly, people are still fantastically social, and the LS chat is always busy. People's jobs and crafts continue to mature, as everyone continues to work hard toward their goals. If you are looking for an active and fun LS to spend your time with, look no further!

I am indeed still around. But the game has gone through quite the transformation, and so has the LS. I am still part of a fantastic group of players, and we'll be making a new post on here to promote our new LS for ARR soon!
