I was really, really hoping that the LFG tool would just be a highly revamped finder tool, not an automated system. I'm not happy about that at all, really. Yeah, it's definitely an improvement over sitting on the fleet and shouting, but I just don't like the automated system. I'm pleased it's not cross-server, at the very least. If that ever changes, there's a very good chance I'd be retiring from TOR.

The augment changes are much-needed, so that's good.

It's a pretty sparse number of details, though, for a patch that's only really implementing three major features. Hopefully they'll expound on those more heavily this week.

I don't think it's even on the PTR yet, so this was probably a teaser more than anything.

I don't mind the LFD (LFFP?) tool being automated, but I agree, if LFD ever goes cross-server I will quit TOR.

The augment changes are nice. It not only makes it a little easier to get the best possible gear, it also opens up more character customization through different armor sets.

Some nifty information

Most analysts were stating this a month or more ago. Expect to see the "dead servers" get free xfers, it will be interesting to see if they try to funnel a number of dead servers onto a single or a few low pop servers to help boost their population. Then a final push to merge, though merge usually has negative connotations for health of a game (however in this case the game pop is healthy, it is individual server pops that are an issue).

We do not currently have a release date for 1.3 we want to share but it’s on a much shorter development cycle than 1.2 was.

Good to hear!

I dunno, Blizz merged servers while still in Vanilla or BC, and the game would have been a lot healthier if they continued to merge low pop servers over time. I'd applaud server merges as being healthy, and it would be ridiculous to think it's because Bioware failed. Servers aren't empty because people are quitting, servers are empty because people are now playing normally on servers implemented to service launch bulk.

You can see the features in a more organized format here. It also confirms that the group finder works for FPs, Ops, Warzones, and Planetary Herocis (!!!).

You can see the 1.3 legacy perks in the coming soon tab of your legacy menu in-game. The above link confrims that you can reduce speeder level to 10, which is all kinds of awesome.

I'll probably prioritize Mount > Sprint Speed + > Crafting Crit + > Gift Affection +.
