Solo classFollow

Hey all,

I still consider myself a noob in online gaming, even though i've played a few MMOs and have even reached max level, i believe so as a lot of the time i am following a specific build and rotation of skills to use in combat. Anyway, i recently purchased Rift as well as World of Warcraft, i have played WoW before but on a private server messing around. I jumped into the game today, didn't get very far, i am quite OCD picking a class and rolling with it, i literally checked everyone out which was thankfully easy to do as they're quite informative.I decided that i liked the feel of Pyromancer more but then i looked at the offical forums to find people saying this was a PVP class, and as my subject to this thread suggest, i am looking for a solo class. I looked over the forums but these types of threads are dated back in 2011, so i am sure classes have been modified since then. So, can anyone give me a run down on classes that can solo.
