awe i see so pvp may be a situation to watch out for during public pve. zergs may be a problem, wonder if they will implement some type of coloring areas? like green=safe yellow= contested and red=hostile? thatd be sweet

Almost every zone has an instance in it. You also need to remember that once you reach level 50 you can do an "expert version" this means the bosses are harder but also, time has passed in the instance, so new areas & rooms are in expert version. More mobs and more bosses on the whole. so its not like other heroic dungeons like WoW that the dungeon bosses just hit a bit harder.

Also something to point out is Trion had admitted they arent making Rift a "WoW Killer" but marketing it as a great "WoW Alternative"

If there is any gaming company saying they are making a wow killer game is dreaming, WoW is not going to collapse in popularity from just one game release.

I think having every instance have upper level content is a really smart move. I have been in so many games where you only have one or two instance choices at your level. TO have all of them available from the start will be amazing for the end game.

Currently 10 regular instances and 2 10 and 20 man raids

Here is where it changes:
WoW back when I played Heroic just meant same dungeon some better loot. Expert modes in
Rift start at lvl 50.

Basically you enter the same 10 instances, but they have completely new zones. The raids
also have expert modes like this. This is Trions way of continuing the storyline from
the first time you went in there.

It would be equivalent to taking Ragefire Casm in WoW and putting a heroic mode to it, but
it has a completely new area and continues the storyline

The concept of the expert lvl sounds amazing. How had no one come up with the simple idea of the same dungeon for higher lvls / better loot / with the story progressed before?! I cant wait for open beta.
