As the title states, this is a wiki I use. It gives a pretty good amount of information based on what we know of the game and its features. I suggest reading over the stuff on here if you plan on taking part in the closed betas so you have an idea of whats going on and can focus on bug finding rather than just playing.

We also have the ZAM@Rift wiki. Don't forget about that! Our content here is...well...here. We'll have our own database here as well, so it'll be a one stop shop, if you know what I mean.

I wasn't aware that this site would have its own wiki as well. Nevertheless until it gets up and running the link I posted could prove to be somewhat useful.

Helo from the Wikibase Admin, Im currently designing the Rift wiki. I know its just skin and bones at the moment, but do not fret. We kidnapped a Trion staff member and "harvesting" the information. As soon as the NDA is over expect to see a huge ammount of new details in the Rift Wiki and most likely an Item Database also.

Keep checking back and see the Torture magic unfold :)

Didn't the developers expressly state that the current stage of beta is less about finding bugs and more about stress testing the server/marketing?

They seem to have done most of the bug finding in the alpha testings.

Quote:
Our beta is for stress testing. And I have said many times that beta is also for marketing. Sure we'd all like to think marketing has nothing to do with it. But it does. There are less than 30k people on this forum right now. That's not enough to support any MMO. So our marketing team is using beta to get us some attention and get more people looking at Rift. That's their job. If they don't get the word out and get sales for the game, none of us get to enjoy Rift.

Just saying, some of us would like to play the game before purchase ;)

More than one wiki can't hurt, but I love the fact that even though this game is still in Beta there is a massive amount of support already being put where the players will need it- ie information ;)

The NDA sucks, would be nice if all of the information was out now!

May i be totally truthfully. The Wiki will be appricated but most likely everyone will be going to eq2flames.com in the RIFT section.

and most likely they will be needing something more like eq2i.com with its shourt adress and info

give it a thought

kind regards

It might be Firefox or that the site there is nothing there but that calculator is totally broken for me. It really is too early to play with talent calculators anyway. All a working one would do is make everyone not in beta drool for months.

It would be pretty useless for there to be two identical Rift Wikis, so hopefully the ZAM wiki can be made the superior one. Whether it's if I get into the beta and can contribute now, or when the game goes live, being able to contribute to the wiki would be very exciting.

Awesome.... good to know you guys are already getting together info... From what little I have gotten to play so far Rift looks very promising I got to play in first beta... Nice to see some fresh ideas going into game play also taking other ideas from top games and putting them nicely bundled into Rift.. Another thing boys and girls Trion isn't afraid of making some content actually a challenge =)

Im expecting war of the wiki's to be turned to be in our favor, As I am a dedicated Rift player, I am the admin for our Rift@ZAM wiki and i even keep a few Trion developers on a weekly bribe so i can get hold of the cool info.

Some of my current projects im working on.
* Quests, npcs, and the usual stuff
* Locations of all 105 rare spawn mobs
* A library of all mounts available in game
* Run-throughs for completing all the quests.

Also now with the BETA NDA off you can jump in and start adding content also. If you have any concerns or dont know where to begin, let me know and I can point you in the right direction. If its information about something/anything in-game, its worth adding to the wiki.
