To any healers out there with experience raid healing, could you give any advice for raid healing builds? So much of what I am finding is outdated.
I am currently leveling up (lvl 48), running dungeons with a Purifier/Sentinel/Warden build that I feel is very strong. Not sure how vaible it would be for raid healing.
I have just enough in Sentinel for Touch the Light and Healer's Covenant. My main focus is Wards and Abosorption from the Purifier tree. With Emblem of Ashes I am casting 3 shields (Symbol of the Sun) with each cast absorbing a ton of damage and they are easy to keep up on rotation. I have the HoT from Warden and mostly spam Healing Flare after all the shields and HoT are in place.
The main drawback I see is I don't have strong AoE heals, just AoE shields. Does this mean that this build would be the Tank Healer in a raid rather than the Raid Healer? Or perhaps this build is just not viable for raiding at all.
Any advice would be helpful.
