(NOTE: I updated this spec to transition smoothly into the level 60 version.)

<< Things to consider >>

1. The old Duracell spec got semi-obliterated in the 1.11 patch, so I remade my own version of it. I have tested it thoroughly and I am very happy with it; it's very solid. I keep it updated as I play and find better tactics so check back occasionally if you use it.

2. It is a primarily a solo survivability build, but I specc'd it to do much more damage than it used to because I started to kind of like Soul Drain and Shroud of Agony perks, which add MUCH more AoE damage.

3. This build is pretty balanced. It's not ****-bent on survivability, which tends to lower dps, nor does it have raid-type high dps, which usually comes with low survivability. It's a mid-range spec that's fun, and that's why I like it.

(NOTE: It could probably be used for leveling, but I haven't tried it so it's safer to say, start using it at level 50.)

<< Breakdown >>

This build does better the MORE creatures you attack. I can run into 2 invasions and do OK... but if I run into 40, the build really shines; you get more self healing and do more damage. This build is primarily solo, because over half the damage and healing you do happens when the creatures are targeting and attacking YOU.

I would not use this in dungeons or higher, as there are better healing and better dps specs for those.

<< Buffs >>

-Glory of the Chosen
-Shroud of Agony
-Armor of Devotion
-Vengeance of the Winter Storm

<< Macros >>

Single Target:

#show Sanction Heretic
suppressmacrofailures
cast Glacial Shield
cast Sanction Heretic
cast Massive Blow
cast Bolt of Radiance
cast Strike of Judgment
cast Ekkehard's Grasp

(ST NOTES:)

-I know Strike of Judgment and Ekkehard's Grasp are both instant ST, but Grasp is ranged and it helps to spam it if you get knocked back and can't move; the macro will cycle to it instead of the Strike.

-Also, Crushing and Icy Blow do more damage than Strike of Judgment, but then you miss out on Salvation's healing ability.

-I purposefully do NOT use Hammer of Duty because it gets rid of all your convictions (no convictions = no Doctrine of Bliss.)

Area of Effect:

#show Soul Drain
suppressmacrofailures
cast Soul Drain
cast Glacial Shield
cast Even Justice

(AoE NOTES:)

-Avalanche Strike does a little bit more damage than Even Justice, but you lose out on Salvation's healing bonus, so I don't use it.

<< Play strategy >>

AoE:

1. Target a creature in the back of a group and use Ride The Lightning (so fun). That aggros all the creatures and they get hit continuously by Shroud of Agony for an over 1-2k dps addition to melee dmg (something the old Duracell build never had), then start spamming your AoE macro for BIG dps.

2. I often find myself running around using Vex on each creature for the healing, then line of sighting things and waiting with my finger over AoE spam. Smiley: grin

ST:

Manually apply Vex and Lightning Hammer, then spam ST macro.

<< Mana regen >>

-Click Purpose and spam AoE or ST macro to build up mana, but remember to turn it off so you can use Doctrine of Loyalty, as DoL requires convictions and Purpose temporarily disables conviction generating while active.

<< Healing >>

-Duracell has four ways to heal itself:

1. Hitting things with Justicar abilities heal you (Even Justice, Bolt of Radiance, Strike of Judgement).

2. Vex creatures before you fight (I tab target for that). This is good for whatever you're fighting, but if you're taking too much damage in an AoE fight, just manually apply it to more creatures. (3-5 creatures vexxed usually overheals you.)

3. Harsh Discipline is your biggest/best single target heal, but it can get interrupted, so plan accordingly.

4. Doctrine of Loyalty is your second biggest single heal. It's more dependable than Harsh Discipline, but you have to spam it to be effective and you need convictions to use it. This version is better than Doctine of Bliss, as it heals the group as well, and the additional mana cost is negligable.

(NOTE: The cool thing about Duracell... if I have a quarter health, I'll actually go pull a bunch of creatures to heal myself instead of using drink, etc...)

<< Trinkets >>

For healing:

-Using some form of the SHoE trinket really helps supplement the loss of healing since the 1.11 patch:

1. Sacred Heirloom of Eth (Tier 2 Dungeon - Expert Deepstrike Mines - Dropped by Dichrom)
2. Sunken Heat of Eons (Tier 2 Raid - Hammerknell Fortress - Dropped by Inwar Darktide)
3. Sacramental Hymnals of Earth (Tier 3 Raid - Infernal Dawn - Dropped by Dragon Eggs)

For damage:

-Using some form of Spellpower enhancing trinket really helps me.

1. Lost Favor (Tier 2 Dungeon - Runic Decent (Expert) - Dropped by Eliam The Corrupted)
2. Lifebound Relic (Tier 1 Raid - Greenscale's Blight - Dropped by Prince Hylas)

For stats:

1. Conquest Master's Retribution (In Conquest from ANY Quartermaster - 75,000 Favor and 575 Marks of Conquest)

<< Crystals >>

(NOTE: Crystals have been outdated! I expect we won't have new ones until we start running Storm Legion Experts (Level 57+) and raiding in SL.)

This is my attempt at reviving Duracell at 1.11. Enjoy!

-- GUIDE: LEVEL 50-60 --

***

(NOTE: Level 60 really threw a wrench in my spec since I thought I would have more points than I actually ended up with... I am disappointed. I re-did the spec hopefully for the last time (I went through about 4-5 different versions and just settled for changing both the level 50 and 60 versions to match/transition). This the truest version of the old Duracell, and it's the closest I can get to functioning correctly in Storm Legion.)

(NOTE: I repeated some of the info from 50 version so you didn't have to scroll back up to find it, but I've added more to some of them.)

Single Target:

#show Sanction Heretic
suppressmacrofailures
cast Just Defense
cast Glacial Shield
cast Sovereignty
cast Sanction Heretic
cast Massive Blow
cast Bolt of Radiance
cast Strike of Judgment
cast Ekkehard's Grasp

Area of Effect:

#show Soul Drain

cast Soul Drain
cast Even Justice

Big Heal:

#show Harsh Discipline
cast Resplendent Embrace
cast Harsh Discipline

Combat Rez:

#show Absolution
em is Combat Rezzing << %t ! >>
cast Absolution

Damage:

-Ride The Lightning into creatures.
-Remember to refresh Lightning Hammer and Vex on single target mobs.
-Use Righteous Imperative often to pull creatures to you, this makes Shroud of Agony do more damage.
-If you notice that you don't need any convictions for heals, but they're building up, I recommend keeping Hammer of Duty next to your Lightning Hammer, and throw it in there every time your convictions get to 7; it's a heavy hitter to be sure. :)

Health and Mana:

-Use Doctrine of Loyalty now instead of Bliss to heal yourself and group.
-Click Purpose and spam AoE or ST macro to build up mana, but remember to turn it off so you can use Doctrine of Loyalty, as DoL requires convictions and Purpose temporarily disables conviction generating while active.

Utility:

-You have a Purge from Inquisitor.
-A combat rez, Absolution, from Justicar.
-Also Provoke, for single target taunting.
-Interdict, an AoE interrupt, from Justicar.

<< Trinkets >>

For healing:

-Storm Legion came out with a new SHoE trinket. I heard the proc rate is terrible, but I'm going to hopefully feedback this until it changes.

1. Spent Heavy Omniparticle Emitter (Tier 2 Dungeon - Expert Empyrean Core - Dropped by Prince Kaliban)
...and an alternative that seems to proc better for the time being:
2. Storm Queen's Charge (Tier 2 Dungeon - Expert Exodus of the Storm Queen - Dropped by Chekaroth)

No problem at all! I'm glad someone other than me has found it useful. Feel free to use it wherever. Smiley: smile

I often edit it, so perhaps share the link so it stays up to date.
