Hello everyone!
Me and a friend are new to the game, and I chose to be a tank, since that is what I did in WoW, and I liked it.
We just finished running Darkening deeps (we're lvl 23) and it went pretty bad. I died pretty fast, and the rogue respecced tanking and carried us. I don't know if it was due to me or my healer friend, but I want to be as good as I can, so I was wondering if you guys have any advice on good tanking specs/souls? At the moment my main soul is Paladin, since I like the whole "bastion of light" theme. Is it a good tanking soul though? I feel that I lack AoE tanking capabilities, is that just a Paladin thing or do tanks simply not have much AoE in this game?

It might of been you, cause at that level, if a Rogue tank made it through with the same healer, it was probably you (no offense)

You have Sweeping Strike and Judgement as AoEs, but there on CDs.
And heck, if you need to, don't run into combat without them being off CD. Use them both first then focus on single target threat generation, but use Sweeping strike as much as possible.

With this you have AOE Pulling with Plague Bringer >> Soul Feast >> Necrotic Wounds >> Blood Fever
You have both Sweeping Strike and Judgement
You make sure your Battlefield Awareness is up and your finisher for AOE threat is Spotter's Order with Spotter's Order you can use it with 1-3 Attack Points and it still gives good AOE threat it is also a big DPS boost for the Party
Sergeant's Order or Shield Throw for strays (I prefer Sergeant's cause it actually pulls the guy to you)
Although he isn't active anymore I believe his leveling builds are still valid and this build is basically from Ciderhelm you can look up Ciderhelm.com i think.
