I know this has most probably been asked 100 times.
Rift is my first MMORPG and loving it. I even have own guild no which is going strong.
I had good build.. i thought..
I then was challenged to a duel by player in guild who i out gear by quite a but and he wiped the floor with me lol.
I want a role for T2s and raids to hit maximum dps from range.
If possible could someone give me some macro's and buffs to use as well as like i said im very new to all this but i am learning quick :).
Also will i have spells that can interrupt boss's? I know i have purge on build I have. But I got my build off some random person in Reptilion. I can hit
I can hit 1.9k crit. But felt the person i did duel with just hit me so fast ..

It would be an immense help to know what spec you're currently running. If you can even give the link to your build from the Soul Builder, we have an awesome community of players that would love to help you out.
One caveat though regarding your post. It is actually unfair for you to judge any PvE (Player vs. Environment) spec through any PvP (Player vs. Player) combat. The two methods of gameplay are quite different and require different abilities (such as crowd control). Also, factors such as the other player having valor gear or a PvP soul can change the outcome of any duel.
Safest bet when working with souls is to focus them for the style of gameplay you are trying to work with (and there are plenty of souls for other occasions).
