I recently made a Stormcaller mage at level 25 so that I could have a more portent DPS/AoE build for doing dungeons. (Otherwise Necrolock) The build seems to give nice numbers, good AoE and single-target damage and everything, but I noticed that it doesn't last very long for mana. I can get through a regular boss fight okay, but something like the Waves of Madness events that have large, raid-bossesque style fights I run out of juice about 3/4 of the way through the fight. I was wondering if I should be doing something differently?

Stormcaller/Elementalist is a great level 50 build because you have access to all the tools you need -- but not so while leveling up. You REALLY need that Channel Elements for the long fights.

If you find a need to recharge your mana for the long events while leveling, put points in Warlock (Sacrifice Life: Mana) or Dominator (Mana Wrench) instead for in-combat mana regen. Most recommend Warlock because it's more globally useful for whatever primary spec you have.
