Hello, i am a newbie rift player but am level 16, i find that i am not dipping into my 3rd soul at all and was wondering if it would be wise to take something like ELEMENTAL SUMMONER for just the pet. It seems like that would be something that would help with initial aggro and not waste precious dps as its a cast once out of combat type of thing.
Thoughts?
P.S. this is strictly for leveling

Take soul for just the petFollow
I think it would be useful up until about level 20-25, then the pet would probably start being less and less useful. Still, it is a decent choice for a 3rd soul.

yes, definitely pick up the elemental if you are running anything other than necromancer. You get him until level 30 where he will not level anymore.
